  • Individual Counseling

Engaging with the issues that come with aging requires experience and an understanding of the strengths that still exist in the client in their environment. It is important to understand that retirement and the transitions that occur with older adults are unique to every individual and their family. The goal of therapy is to improve the quality of life and engage every client with a higher quality of life.

  • Grief and Loss Therapy

Grief and loss are inevitable as we grow. Grief can occur because of loved ones or the loss of abilities that we no longer have. Grief can occur during the transition to retirement, the loss of a spouse and physical handicaps. The goal of this stage of therapy is to help the client recover from the wounds of grief and rebuild the mind and social bonds that will maintain the highest quality of life possible.

  • Family Therapy

As our families grow we face new challenges. The goal of family therapy is to enable families to communicate with one another and establish common goals that strengthen bonds. Family therapy can also allow each member of the family to gain insights and empathy for one another and create strong lines of communication.
